Frequently Asked Questions

Sailing Into the Gulf of Mexico

Our location in Isles of Capri allows us quick access to the Gulf of Mexico! It’s always our intention to sail in the Gulf on every cruise. There are some days however that the seas are too rough for us to safely cruise in the Gulf. Therefore, we will sail in an alternative, protected route if we are unable to cruise in the Gulf. If this occurs , we will not be able to go to the beach for shelling on our catamaran.

What Time Should I Arrive for the Cruise?

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled boarding time.

What Should I Wear?

Casual clothing attire is recommended on all cruises. For our beach and shelling cruises you are welcome to wear swimsuits. Don’t forget the towels and sunscreen. We don’t recommend swimsuits on the sunset cruise. The Captain will ask to have you remove your shoes prior to boarding. If you need to wear shoes for medical or stability reasons, please wear sneakers non-skid shoes. If you are unstable, the captain may ask you to stay in the cockpit and not venture to the front of the boat.

Are Children Allowed?

YES! They must be able to fit into a U.S.C.G.-Coast Guard Commercial Type 1 life-vest. Children must be at least 2 years old for all of our excursions.

Seating

We have an open air cabin with tables and seating. We also welcome passengers to sit directly on the deck/netting on the bow (front of the boat).

What Happens When the Weather is Bad?

Our captains check the weather before each tour. If they determine the weather to is too dangerous, they will decided to cancel the tour. Please note that we do not cancel if it is cloudy or overcast. Should the tour be canceled, we will contact you as soon as possible and will offer the option to reschedule if available. It is very important to leave a good contact number or email so we can get ahold of you if we need to.

What is the Cancellation / Change Policy?
